Privacy and Confidentiality Statement
All members of RAE Consulting have extensive experience working with highly confidential research data. We respect our duty of confidentiality towards all clients and research subjects. We will never disclose information to third parties unless authorised, and we take active steps to ensure the physical security of all client and research data held by us.
All information held by RAE Consulting is collected and processed in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.
You can review the principles laid down by the 1998 Data Protection Act at the Information Commissioner's Office website but, in brief, these require anyone possessing data to ensure that they are;
- fairly and lawfully processed
- processed for limited purposes
- adequate, relevant and not excessive
- accurate
- not kept longer than necessary
- processed in accordance with the data subject's rights
- secure
- not transferred to countries without adequate protection.
RAE Consulting is committed to ethical research. Ensuring the confidentiality of data is a core requirement of ethical research and we will always explicitly identify and respect our clients' confidentiality demands.
