RAE Consulting undertakes stand-alone projects addressing specific research questions and provides tailored advice for clients who need to ensure that their own research activity is fit for purpose.

With practical experience of a wide range of social science research methodologies and skills - from ethnographic survey work through to advanced statistical modelling - RAE Consulting is well placed to identify and apply whatever methods best address their clients' research needs.

Our principal focus, however, is on social survey work and on extracting activity-relevant information from demographic, socio-economic, lifestyle and other data sources. RAE Consulting has particular expertise in survey design and implementation, data mining and the use of large and complex datasets, spatial analysis and GIS, project evaluation, equity audits, and local needs assessment. We are, in particular, able to tailor innovative needs-assessment methods to address the strategic objectives and statutory obligations of public sector bodies.
